Continuing what seems to be a “photos of children” theme, today I’m presenting three photos of elementary-age schoolboys at Tobata Station, in uniform, on their way to school.
Two boys watching someone get out of a car. The hard leather backpack is a standard item for elementary school students, as is the name tag pinned to the left side of the chest. I wonder what happened to the lead boy’s hat?
I believe these boys are stomping a bug. They’d probably get a stern lecture if their teacher caught them on the road.
Ahoy, captain. A third pair of boys approaching from two o’clock! Let’s just say I’m glad Jarrod didn’t have to wear a uniform to school. Especially a scaled-down 19th-century sailor uniform.
