26 Jan 2007: Two Paintings Missing in Storage [3 Comments]
I’m trying to track down two paintings—Fireflight (2003) and Etheric Roots (2000)—more precisely described as carved and painted wood assemblages. I lent them to one or more people who volunteered to “store” them on walls while I was overseas. Unfortunately I can’t find a record of who I lent them to. Please look at the images if you think you might be able to help compensate for my sieve-like memory.
26 Jan 2007: A Tour of the Site Upgrades
I’ve finally written a description of the site changes that I’ve made over the past couple of months. Here’s the summary: I’ve changed the home page added a few new sections: portfolio, texts, and info. I’ve also added site-wide navigation, and a site map. This may not seem like a lot, but inside that brief sentence are hiding over fifty pages of new content, and at least two hundred images.

I’m in Calgary this week, touring the city’s art galleries as I refresh my awareness of contemporary Canadian art and research commercial galleries who might be interested in taking my on. Also, mini-reviews of Blake Seninin at Skew Gallery, Ron Moppet at Trépanier Baer Gallery, and Julie Lin’s drawings in Hit or Miss at Triangle Gallery.
