Two Paintings Missing in Storage

In an attempt to consolidate the surprisingly vast collection of my own personal artwork, I’ve been trying to account for each piece that I lent out on “storage” duty after we sold our house and moved abroad in the summer of 2003. I’ve managed to track down all but two pieces.

Update 9 March 2007: Both pieces are now accounted for.

These are the pieces in question:

Fireflight
Mixed Media (Acrylic on Carved Wood Assemblage), 2003
12.7″ x 22.8″ x 1.7″ (32.3cm x 57.8cm x 4.4cm)

Etheric Roots
Mixed Media (Acrylic on Carved Wood Assemblage), 2000
17.6″ x 19.4″ x 0.8″ (44.7cm x 49.3cm x 2.1cm)

If anyone knows the whereabouts of either of these pieces, please let me know via email or through the contact form.

  1. Fireflight has resurfaced. It turns out that I sold it 4 years ago. Silly me to forget something like that. I suppose I could have discovered the location by scrutinizing my account books, but they’re still in storage.

  2. “Fireflight” holds a prominent place in my home and is enjoyed daily. I resonated with it immediately when I saw it in 2004 – I was then the orange figure engulfed in the flames of transformation, I’m now the blue evolving soul! Thanks Ed!
